Harry Hall Update!
As most of you may now know, Harry is home resting some and in the office resting some.  Harry had a pacemaker installed and now has a period of time to recover.  If you see him lifting his left arm – call Kathy immediately!

Wish you had the $8000 tax credit still around?  How’s this for motivation…$54,000 in credits!  That’s right, a buyer who locked in their rate in April will pay up to $54,000 more to borrow their money.  Rate have dipped more than 1/2% since the expiration of the tax credit.  Another angle is a buyer can afford more house as a result of the lower rate as well.

Marilyn Mattson and Andi Ahart were omitted from the CDPE attendees from last week’s class.  We had 10 of the approximately 70 agents present in the class – of this I am very proud.  Congrats to the newest CDPEs in Las Vegas.  You’ll make the transaction that much better no matter what side you are on.

Facebook, can it work?
  Another referral found in the world of Facebook in the last week.  This was the most talked about and the well attended topic in the CRS Conference this week in Las Vegas.  RE/MAX has a guide on Mainstreet in the marketing/public relations tab.

Shortsale Addendum.  We have a company short sale disclosure to be signed by EVERY seller in a short sale.  It is in the company library on ZipForms.  It is to be in your company file on the doc manager.  Please implement it immediately.  This was drawn by a short sale attorney to protect us from future action.

  Wow! What a great SellABration this year in Las Vegas.  The buzz is social media, being “trust” agents, being well educated in distressed properties, and becoming “solution agents” rather than “sales agents”.  There are many great opportunities in any kind of market, we must remind ourselves and discipline our thoughts to see the opportunity in every challenge.  Many of the most successful people on the planet simply provided a solution to a challenge.  In Las Vegas and the surrounding areas we have a tremendous opportunity to help our community and homeowners in trouble reset their lives.
